Immigration Alert March 13th, 2021
Since March 12th, 2021, all travellers arriving from Australia, South Korea, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Singapore, no longer must give a compelling reason.
As a result, French consulates in these countries should resume processing visa applications (including previously excluded professional long-stay visas, such as ""ICT Seconded Employee").
The lighter sanitary measures applicable to travellers coming from a country in the European area (cf. Member States of the European Union, Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Switzerland, and the Vatican) should therefore be extended to those travelling from Australia, South Korea, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Singapore (cf. absence of self-isolation for seven days on arrival, and the presentation of a negative COVID test less than 72 hours old before departure, concerning only travellers over the age of 11).
